1. Service Overview

DesignToolsCoach.com provides live, personalized training sessions focused on Figma and related design tools. Training is delivered online via video conferencing and may include collaborative work in design files. Sessions are tailored to individuals or teams based on their needs.

2. Booking & Payments

• All sessions must be booked in advance.

• Payment is required before the session begins.

• Accepted payment methods include Stripe, Airwallex, and direct bank transfers.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

• Clients may cancel or reschedule with at least 48 hours’ notice.

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance may be eligible for rescheduling.

• Cancellations within 48 hours of the session may not be eligible for rescheduling.

• Payments are generally non-refundable. Refunds may only be granted in exceptional cases and must be explicitly agreed in writing.

• Missed sessions are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling.

• If a session is disrupted due to technical issues on our side, it will be rescheduled at no additional cost. Disruptions on the client’s side may not qualify for rescheduling.

4. Time Zone Awareness

Session times are scheduled in the client’s preferred time zone. It is the client’s responsibility to confirm the correct timing. Missed sessions due to time zone errors may not be rescheduled.

5. Session Structure

• Sessions are live and customized to the participant’s level and goals.

• A short discovery call (10–15 minutes) may be arranged to define objectives.

• Training is hands-on, using client-provided or new files created during the session.

6. File Ownership & Collaboration

• Clients may invite trainers into their own design files or request new files for training purposes.

• Clients retain full ownership of their files.

• If a trainer-created file is used, it may be transferred or duplicated by the client after the session.

• DesignToolsCoach.com does not retain file access unless explicitly requested.

7. Session Recordings

• Sessions may be recorded for training and quality purposes.

• Recordings may be provided to clients for review.

• Clients will always be notified if a session is being recorded.

8. Use of Third-Party Platforms

DesignToolsCoach.com uses third-party services including but not limited to Stripe, Framer, Google Forms, conferencing platforms, and Figma. We are not responsible for outages, technical issues, or data errors caused by these platforms.

9. Third-Party Trademarks

DesignToolsCoach.com is an independent training provider.

We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Figma, Inc. or any other software company.

All product names, logos, and brands mentioned are the property of their respective owners and are used strictly for identification purposes.

10. Limitation of Liability

Services are provided “as is” without guarantees of specific outcomes. DesignToolsCoach.com is not liable for:

• Technical disruptions on the client’s side

• Misapplication of advice provided during training

• Bugs, outages, or limitations of any design software or third-party platform

Training is intended to support learning and skill development, not replace formal product certification or professional mentorship.

11. Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). Any disputes will be handled exclusively under HKSAR law.
